Welcome to Mofastav Hotel Norway. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, reservations, and stay at our hotel. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Mofastav Hotel Norway website, making a reservation, or staying at our hotel, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Reservations and Bookings

All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation. To make a reservation, you must be at least 18 years old and possess the legal authority to enter into binding contracts.

  • Reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card or deposit
  • Check-in time is 3:00 PM; check-out time is 11:00 AM
  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and additional charges
  • We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations if they appear fraudulent

3. Cancellation and Modification Policy

Cancellation policies vary based on rate type, package, and season. Please review the specific cancellation policy provided at the time of booking.

  • Standard Rate: Free cancellation up to 72 hours before check-in
  • Advance Purchase Rate: Non-refundable; modifications not permitted
  • Group Bookings (5+ rooms): Specific policies apply; contact our group department
  • No-shows: Will be charged the full amount of the reservation

4. Payment Terms

All rates are quoted in Norwegian Krone (NOK) and include 25% VAT unless otherwise stated. Additional charges may apply for services not included in your rate.

  • We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
  • Payment is due upon checkout unless other arrangements have been made
  • Prepayment may be required for certain packages or during peak seasons
  • Any disputes regarding charges must be reported within 30 days of checkout

5. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information during booking
  • Respecting hotel property, other guests, and staff
  • Complying with all hotel policies and Norwegian laws
  • Settling any additional charges upon checkout
  • Securing personal valuables; the hotel is not responsible for lost or stolen items

6. Liability Limitations

Mofastav Hotel Norway shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use our services
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
  • Statements or conduct of any third party on our premises
  • Any other matter relating to our services

7. Force Majeure

Mofastav Hotel Norway shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or other force majeure events.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vestland, Norway.
